Pearl, a grey and white mother of 18, is seriously considering going on the game.
The good-natured cat, who lives in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, said she’s been “giving it away” these past 12 years and has only recently realised there’s a demand out there for what she can supply.
Pearl overheard a discussion about the recent launch of a Cat Cafe in the city, and was intrigued.
She told The Lab Report: “It turns out that humans go there and pay to touch cats’ bodies. Or just for their company. It’s really up to the cat.
“I spend most days lying on sunny street corners hoping to attract people – I had no idea I could make it pay. It’s a win-win, really.”
